For years, quite a few observers, including my humble self, have been warning of an imminent and multidimensional catastrophe in the making and the events of the last three years have only sharpened the contours of this rising social-political and environmental-economic tsunami.
Many of the ominous rumours and reports that were kept in the drawer of sensational conspiracy theories (an ambiguous term if ever there was one, although the powers-that-be routinely use it to dismiss them) are now at least suspected by a large part of the population because they have been confirmed or at least shown to be plausible by factual happenings. It is visible for instance that an international cluster of highly influential major banks, funds and corporations planned what the Davos Forum, one of their annual watering holes, calls the Great Reset, entailing a drastic revision in lifestyles, mores and practices for the world’s population.
Steps are daily being taken to implement these radical reforms on a global scale. They are intended to create an allegedly ‘greener’, global society based on an ideology of discretionary ‘inclusion’ (with a constant focus on sexual and ethnic minorities which flies in the face of the very concept of democracy), ‘total security’ and environmentalism. This new society is to be regulated primarily by Artificial Intelligence, transacting through CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies broadly managed like to the Chinese Digital Yuan), monitoring citizens through electronic surveillance – with a view to ensuring their compliance with rules of consumption, behaviour and interaction – and controlling their medical condition through WHO-sponsored measures and tests.
A new pharmaco-medical system is being rolled out, after testing it during the COVID breakout. The emerging healthcare protocols, mainly operated through AI, are based on formulas mainly devised in US Ivy League business schools. That agenda was drawn in the course of extensive confabulations between transnational agencies and consulting firms, Big Pharma executives and giant foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates consortium. Although they justify the projects by arguing for the need to reduce costs, highflying consultants are paid many millions for every report they tender while pharmaceutical and ‘philanthropic’ tycoons generously support the political parties and scientific institutions involved in their plans.
All that is going on outside public scrutiny, like the management of the COVID epidemic and the decisions to mass vaccinate people with experimental gene-modifying therapies, which have exposed the enormous financial and strategic interests at play.
Many governments are trying to evade responsibility for hasty and unconstitutional decisions during the pandemic and the former British Chancellor Rishi Sunak, after many medical professionals, legal activists and concerned citizens, has exposed the arbitrary and scientifically unjustified procedures implemented by the Johnson Government. The rumble of protest is highest in the US armed forces which are experiencing a record wave of diseases, disabilities and demises in the ranks after being mandatorily vaccinated with products for which neither the State nor the manufacturers took responsibility.
As if no lessons had been learnt, similar hastiness has been imposed for rushing into a NATO-induced civil war between ethnic Russian Ukrainians supported by Russians and western Ukrainians, used as pawns for years by the US and British governments in pursuit of their own anti-Russian agenda. Under American pressure most western European Governments and other ‘allies’ (read, satellites) gave up their customary reserve and more or less declared Russia an enemy. Several are pouring weapons into the Ukraine conflict zone, thereby expanding the war, multiplying the victims and unleashing an international energy, food and raw materials crisis, a double whammy for economies already hurt by the drastic restrictions and obligations imposed in the name of fighting the COVID virus.
As if this was not enough, much of that ‘donated’ or lend-leased military hardware is finding its way from Ukraine into the black market and falling into the hands of paramilitaries, terrorists and criminal networks.
We are caught in a perfect storm hatched by the combination of exhausted political systems (several political scientists are pointing out the death of multiparty democracy in the West) with mediocre, immature and often corrupt politicians who feel powerless and seek to enjoy the perks of their offices as consolation for their redundancy.
Elections are widely viewed with cynicism since the power of money and media, not to mention electronic technologies, can easily sway the results for the benefit of those who enjoy the support of the biggest stakeholders in the system, i.e. those who control more money. A very large proportion of Americans does not believe that Joseph Biden legitimately won the 2020 elections and even among those who still hold him to be the bona fide winner, many acknowledge that the Mainstream media’s cover up of his son Hunter’s despicable activities is essentially what made it possible for the Democrats to defeat Trump.
The situation for heads of state and government is not much better in Europe where some leaders have already had to resign under a cloud. The more popular among those still in office, such as Hungary’s Viktor Orban, openly challenge US-EU enforced globalist policies and diktats.
From Finland to Peru and from New Zealand to Canada, political systems are in a deep crisis. In France President Macron has become known as a habitual doomsday prophet singing, Spengler-like, a dirge for the decline of the west. German leaders are more specific and ask their countrymen to cut back on showers and heating and wash with wet towels. Most western statesmen warn of impending disaster and all ask for sacrifices from their citizens as living costs skyrocket, but billionaires whose stock market profits soar as we speak, won’t have to endure those trials, nor will the political elite.
The pied piper of the Davos Forum, Klaus Schwab, generally seen earlier as a pompous conference facilitator, has turned into a Svengali to promote ominous recipes for a future society in the making, in which ‘no one (at least none of the hoi polloi) will own anything’, where bugs will be the staple foods, health passes containing a registry of vaccine QR coded certificates will be needed to move around and children will be microchipped from birth.
The Davos Forum has changed from its earlier days as a talking shop for the rich, famous and powerful of diverse persuasions into a neo-liberal transhumanist seminar training selected ‘future leaders’ to run a one-world dystopia, with tech-cult propagandist Yuval Hariri, a promoter of everything ‘trans’ – barring spiritual transcendence – acting the part of Igor, Dr Schwab-Frankenstein’s aide in the Davos Castle.
Together with the (natural or manufactured) COVID virus and the conflict in Ukraine, the feared global warming has generated a kneejerk reaction leading governments to adopt rash measures, in response to the calls of Greta Thunberg and other Greens, for rapid de-growth, although there is little if any probability that such hasty half-hearted steps will stop climatic variations that have always occurred and for which the anthropogenic factor is almost certainly not decisive, given the determinant role of solar cycles and geophysical processes, as pointed by a large number of eminent scientists.
Indisputably major man-made disasters are befalling our environment such as chemical and plastic pollution, toxic contamination of fresh water, destruction of forest cover and arable lands, creeping urbanization and so on, but trying to reverse the greenhouse effect by suddenly moving away from fossil fuels (under the ‘noble’ excuse of ‘cancelling’ Russia) can bring about a disaster which is already in the offing. The Green Agenda is one that entails rapid reduction of consumption and depopulation. Bill Gates has openly called for reducing human numbers ‘with new vaccines,’ and Yuval Hariri (he again) has matter-of-factly remarked that ‘most people are no longer needed’.
In that dramatic situation, the only hope seems to lie with the ‘new powers’, mainly in Asia and Africa, and their attempt to build an alternative monetary, financial and economic system through institutional mechanisms like the BRICS, the SCO, the Eurasian Economic Union and the African Union.
However, that will be a difficult and painful process, needing time that humanity may not have left, faced as it is with the rampant ghosts of climatic turmoil, rampant population growth, water shortage, famine, war, bioterrorism and disease. The conspiracy theories circulating throughout the global communication networks are by no means all true or even believable, but many are symptoms of the real ills that are bringing the current international system to a tragic end.
If India remains stable, grows more prosperous and influential and rides out the storm, its role will be crucial in the new reality of ‘The Day After’.
